Everything you need to give your speakers a fresh Tuff Cab finish.

This convenient refurbishment kit combines a nominal 5 litre pack of Tuff Cab Gloss Black with 10 textured roller sleeves and a roller handle, making it ideal for new loudspeaker cabinet projects as well as restoring older cabinets that have picked up a few too many battle scars.

Tuff Cab is designed specifically for loudspeaker cabinets and similar equipment, providing a tough, hard-wearing textured finish that is easy to apply and simple to touch up if required.

Coverage

Tuff Cab offers very good coverage, although the amount required varies considerably depending on the surface, number of coats, texture and application method.

Bare MDF, plywood and other absorbent timber surfaces will normally require at least two coats. The first coat generally uses more paint as it seals and covers the bare surface, while subsequent coats usually require considerably less and help build an even texture and finish.

When refurbishing cabinets with a sound existing painted surface, a single coat may often be sufficient to refresh the finish.

New Formulation

Tuff Cab manufactured from September 2026 replaces previous versions of the product. Customers matching or touching up older black Tuff Cab finishes should allow for possible differences in colour, sheen and texture.
