JAM Systems S118 Bass Speaker Cabinet Flatpack Kit
The JAM Systems S118 is a compact, high-output 18" bass-reflex subwoofer cabinet designed for live music, mobile DJs and general-purpose sound reinforcement. Tuned to approximately 38Hz, it delivers a strong combination of punch, efficiency and low-frequency extension, making it suitable for a wide range of programme material while remaining compact and practical to transport.
Constructed from CNC-cut birch plywood, the cabinet features four large reflex ports, integrated wooden handles and an internal volume of approximately 155 litres. Finished cabinet dimensions are 512mm high × 580mm wide × 753mm deep.
The JAM Systems S118 is available at different stages of completion to suit a range of skill levels and budgets, from a flat-panel kit for assembly from scratch, to an assembled cabinet ready for filling, sanding and finishing, or a fully finished and painted enclosure ready to load with the driver of your choice. ** Please note availability of the different options does vary, and the primary options are unassembled flatpack kit (just the wood) - and fully assembled kit, fully painted, and complete with grille. We can even load up the drivers for you - so its ready to rock right out of the box.
This is a complete flatpack kit for constructing the JAM Systems S118 subwoofer cabinet. The panels are CNC cut from high-quality birch plywood suitable for professional loudspeaker cabinet construction. Assembly requires a reasonable level of woodworking ability and appropriate tools.

Kits available from 2026 onwards have some very minor design tweaks with regard to rebates for rubber feet, top hat position, and grill mounting. If you purchases these kits between 2016 and 2025, they will be very slightly different.
