Convair Electronics Filters and Crossovers are hand built in the UK to an exacting standard. Through the use of quality components, insertion losses are kept to a minimum and crossover points are kept within tight tolerances. Besides sounding great these filters and crossovers are constructed to withstand a rough life on the road. Custom specifications are available for larger orders.

A passive high pass filter is used to protect a high frequency device (compression driver or tweeter) from damage due to frequencies below its safe working range. Selecting the best crossover frequency also allows fine tuning for the best overall sound.
